the wondrous world of c. wonder

Well, hello there.  Please, come in.

Let me tell you about a new favorite and current obsession of mine - C. Wonder.  Haven't heard of it?  Don't fret; the flagship store just opened in October 2011 in SoHo so you're not really behind on the times.  Its SoHo location, as well as several other stores scattered in New York and New Jersey, appear to be geared towards the more peppy and preppy, hip and fun crowd.

Wondering about the mastermind behind the brand?  None other than Christopher Burch, ex-husband of famed designer Tory Burch.  Burch teamed up with Pompei A.D., a well-known creative consultancy firm that has worked with Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Kiehl's to name a few.  Together, they were able to create an open space that housed different themes for different items, yet still remained true to the C. Wonder brand.

This store has everything you could possibly need - and want!  Monograms?  They have it.  Preppy patterns?  Got it.  Vibrant color?  Definitely.  The wide range of clothing, accessories, and home decor are not for those fearful of bright hues and all-over pattern.  The collection is timeless, chic, and luxurious that you'll be thinking that you're going to break the bank for purchases.  Hate to break it to ya, kid.  Items at this store range from $4-$300 {not taking into account the current sale}.  Cute, looks expensive, but affordable?  Count me in!

If you happen to be near one of the four locations - SoHo, Garden State Plaza, The Westchester, or Roosevelt Field Mall - stop by.  I promise that you won't be disappointed!
