After spending a semester abroad in France, macarons found their way to the top of my list of desserts and pastries. These violet macarons with buttercream filling sound both dainty and delicious. Shades of purple, especially lilac, are one of the spring trends that I am eager to try. I love the muted shade of the lace overlay skirt paired with a simple white tee and lilac accessories.

ReplyDeleteI'd never had macarons until a few months ago when they were serving them at a blogger even. No lie, I took about 6 of them off the try as the guy was handing me a napkin haha. They were SO good!
