TOMS and one day without shoes

Today marks One Day Without Shoes, an initiative by TOMS that encourages people to go barefoot for one day to raise awareness on the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life. Millions of children around the world live without shoes and are at a high risk of disease, infection, and injury. This simple challenge {all you need to do is go barefoot!} is meant to spread the word and awareness. Go to OneDayWithoutShoes.com to find an event near you, register, and learn more about this cause.  And if you can't go barefoot today, don't worry! You can still help out by doing it virtually.

I've always loved the message and movement Blake Mycoskie and TOMS shoes has spread {for every pair of shoes purchased, they donate one to a child in need}.  However, I will admit that I don't actually own a pair - yet! Now that my operation spending freeze is over, I've been thinking which pair I want to purchase.
