red, white, and blue polka dot nails

I wanted to paint my nails for the Fourth of July and decided on a polka dot pattern. I used a red nail polish and added white and blue polka dots on my ring fingers. It's a quick and easy manicure and fun for the holiday!

What you'll need: a red, blue, and white nail polish {I used Zoya in Tamsen and Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens in Blue and White}

Step 1: Apply a base coat and two coats of your red nail polish. Let dry completely {I only waited about five-seven minutes.}

Step 2 and 3: Once dry, use the nail art pens to apply white and blue dots to create a polka dot pattern. I made a random pattern but you can make a more precise one.

Step 4: Apply a top coat and you're all done!

Four easy steps to a pretty manicure! If you give this a try, let me know!

  1. That's so cute!! I've never heard of those pens before but they sound really cool/easy to use!

    1. You can find them at any drugstore. I highly recommend! :]

  2. Oh my gosh, that's so cute!

  3. This is too cute! I am terrible at doing nails, so this is right up my alley. Have a wonderful fourth!
