sleepy time

For over a week now, I've been having trouble falling asleep. There has been just one day when I've gone to bed at a somewhat reasonable hour! I've made it my goal to be in my bed by 10 or 11 - lights and TV off, laptop and cell phone put away. Unfortunately for me, it hasn't been working because I've been falling asleep between 4 and 5 AM. This obviously isn't ideal since I wake up between 7 and 7:30 AM everyday and running on less than four hours of sleep is just exhausting.

I've decided that maybe it's time to try out some new methods to get myself to sleep at an earlier hour. And maybe purchase a new pajama set while I'm at it.


I love pajama sets, especially since the shirt can worn day and night. Try it over a cami with jeans, ballet flats, and a light jacket for a casual fall weekend look, similar to these outfit ideas. Sleep masks have always fascinated me for some reason, though I have yet to try one. This pillow mist from Bath & Body Works seems like a bizarre concept {spray it on your pillow and sheets before going to bed to help you fall asleep} but maybe it's worth a shot.

Have you tried sleep masks or pillow mists? Any tips or tricks for a good night's sleep?

  1. Girl! You need to sleep... No social media a few hours before bed, tea (no caffeine) and a warm shower. I try to workout in the am too (working out at night keeps me up), which makes me tired by bedtime. Get some sleep sister!
