buffalo cauliflower bites

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites || Sprinkles and Style

Over the long weekend, my mom and I decided to test out a new recipe that I had seen so many times on Pinterest. Since there were two big football games on Sunday, it seemed like the perfect time to whip this up.

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

1 head of cauliflower, cleaned and cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup buttermilk {we used reduced fat buttermilk}
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 cup buffalo sauce {We used Frank's because it's our favorite and the best in my opinion!}
1 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted


1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
2. Whisk together the buttermilk, flour, and garlic salt in a large bowl until smooth.
3. Gently toss the cauliflower with the buttermilk mixture. Make sure to coat each piece.
4. Place the cauliflower on an aluminum foil-covered baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
5. Mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter together in a small bowl.
6. Remove the cauliflower from the oven. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower pieces and gently stir to make sure all pieces on the baking sheet are covered.
7. Return the cauliflower to the oven for another 5-8 minutes, depending on how toasty you would like it.
8. Serve with a side of bleu cheese dressing and some celery and enjoy!

This would make a great dish to serve up to friends and family on Super Bowl Sunday!

  1. Oh my gosh this sounds amazing-- cauliflower is oddly one of my favorite things, and it's no football game without some buffalo sauce! Must try this for the Super Bowl.
